David & Bathsheba
After David committed adultery with Bathsheba God sent Nathan to him with a story comparable to what David did with Bathsheba. David not knowing it was about him was angry about the injustice & proclaimed the death sentence unwittingly on himself. 2Sa 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man.
2Sa 12:10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God [are] without repentance.
God’s word (sword) won’t leave David. God will pursue him as He did with Jonah, to bring him to repentance. God never repents of the calling he puts on a man’s life.
2Sa 12:13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
When God forgives: Hbr 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
God can’t punish us for something He remembers no more. It is simply gone.
2Sa 12:14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
Howbeit: 1) ceasing, end, finality. Shall surely die: 1) to die, kill, have one executed.
The baby took the death sentence in David’s place. That baby was a type of Christ to come, an example of what Jesus would do at the Cross. God’s enemies always reveal themselves when a Christian stumbles. There are many preachers that oppose the work of God, some of which aren’t even saved, when a preacher of righteousness stumbles they will quickly blaspheme God. 1Ch 13:9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. Oxen represent God’s servants, stumbling represents caught in a fault & the ark represents salvation provided by Jesus at the Cross. God’s righteousness can’t fall, Uzza tried to uphold God’s righteousness. Blasphemers try to uphold God’s righteousness with false doctrines & psychology. Beware of what befell Uzza.
It isn’t God’s nature to kill a child out of anger for its father’s sin. Punishing a person can never can never make him righteous. Jesus & Him Crucified is the only way to righteousness before God. The baby dying in David’s place represented The Message of the Cross injected into this story.
Satan is a Great Counterfeiter
2Sa 12:11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 2Sa 12:12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
2Sa 16:22 So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.
In a tent is not in the sight of the sun! Satan counterfeited God’s curse to try to prove God’s mercy was invain. 2Sa 12:11 was for David if He wouldn’t repent. David repented in 2Sa 12:13.
Satan tries to burden us down with our sins, Jesus lifted the burden of sin on the Cross to all that will believe.

The Message of the Cross
The message of the cross is simple. It is who Jesus is & what He did at the cross for us. Just trust Him. Heb 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”. God will deal with you concerning the sin nature. Heb 12:11 “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby”. Rom 6:22 “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life”. In all chastisement & persecution cling to the cross remembering Jesus paid the price for us on the cross, it wasn’t in vain, He will see you through.
There are many false authors and finishers of faith such as Rick Warren with his book “The Purpose Driven Life”. When one looks at the book, The Purpose Driven Life, one has to be concerned when any book makes a claim, which it does, “This book will change your life!”–there is only one book that will change your life and that’s the Bible.
Another is Bill McCartney with his Promise Keepers. Bill McCartney has described a main goal of Promise Keepers: “You’ve seen the downward spiral of morality in this nation, It can all be traced to an absence of Almighty God. Men of integrity – promise keepers – are what’s going to turn this thing around.” Only what Jesus did at the cross can turn it around. People have to turn to the cross. Promise Keepers will not turn it around.
“Repent” means to turn to God. Their is no turning away from sin without the cross. Mark 1:15 “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel”. Thayer Definition: 1) to change one’s mind, i.e. to repent
Luke 22:31 “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren”.
Converted: epistrephō — to revert (literally, figuratively or morally): – come (go) again, convert, (re-) turn (about, again).
Satan didn’t desire to sift Peter as wheat (Jesus was mocking Satan), Jesus was referring to the final outcome. Luke 3:17 “Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable”. To “sift as wheat” means to remove the chaff (represents sin & other flaws). Rom 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. Jesus turned around what Satan meant for harm and made it for Peter’s good.
When you are in desperation or in search for something the world can’t give, call on Jesus. Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”.

The Midnight Cry
(Mat 25:6) And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
(1Co 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(1Th 4:16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
(Rev 14:6) And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
(Rev 14:7) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
The midnight cry is the shout of 1Th 4:16, the trumpet of 1Co 15:52 & the loud voice of Rev 14:7. It is the last trump; the trump of God. This will be the last alter call before the rapture. It is the last hour (Rev 14:7) before the dead in Christ shall rise. (1Th 4:17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
“Fly in the midst of heaven” refers to tv, radio & satellites. The archangel or chief messenger is God’s chosen preacher with the Message of the Cross to be preached to all the world via radio, tv & satellite broadcasts. This preacher is alive now, he is in his 70’s. With the signs of the times you know the rapture is soon.
Most believe Rev 14:6 & 7 take place sometime after the rapture. The book of Revelation contains some literary flashbacks. Rev 14:6 & 7 are one of the flashbacks to just before the Rapture of the Church.
(1Th 5:2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. (Mat 25:10) And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. (Mat 25:11) Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. The five wise virgins were ready and went in the rapture. The five foolish virgins missed out. I advise all to “Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is COMING SOON: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

The Secret Bible Verse
When I lived on the island of Okinawa I listened to C M Ward on the radio. As I remember, C M Ward was being interviewed, he said he used to preach to people “Your going to Hell for smoking, drinking, lying, stealing, fornication, etc.” Then one day he read John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. It revolutionized his ministry. Jesus said in Luke 9:56 “For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”
It is what separates Christianity from religion. With religion you have to do something to earn your “righteousness”. Different religions have various requirements to achieve “righteousness”. There is even a religion called “Christian”. This “Christian” religion doesn’t recognize John 3:17.
I want to make this perfectly clear: Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not what we do, it is what He did on the Cross! He paid the price for our salvation on the Cross. He is the perfect & only acceptable sacrifice! There is no salvation in any other.
The trouble with Christians is they try to make Christianity into a religion. Good works won’t save, but good works prove you are a Christian. It is the “new creature’s” Spirit of God in you that will produce the good works. Your best good works will not always be recognized by the world or even by most of Christendom. Make provision for Jimmy Swaggart Ministries to get the Message of the Cross to the world and you will hear scorn from some Christians & filthy remarks from the world.
The reason I call John 3:17 the Secret Bible Verse is because people ignore “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world…” It seems everyone wants to condemn & find fault with everyone else. What good would it do for Jesus to condemn anyone? The world was already condemned by sin. That’s the reason for Jesus to save us, because condemnation can’t save. Without Jesus giving His life on the Cross there is no salvation. If Jesus didn’t die for us He would still be God and He would still be Holy & righteous, but He would not be of any salvation as He is the only perfect sacrifice! There is no other.

Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Vain means emptiness. To take (Hebrew: to bear, carry, support, sustain, endure) the Lord’s name in vain means to call yourself a Christian when you’re not a Christian. Merely calling yourself a Christian will not make you guiltless (Hebrew: to be clean, be free from guilt, be innocent).
To be a Christian you have to be born-again, to put your faith exclusively in what Jesus did at the Cross! Our salvation was paid for on the Cross by the perfect & only acceptable sacrifice–God’s only begotten Son–Jesus the Christ. Then you will be guiltless. Clean, free from guilt, innocent & pure!
It’s taught that Exodus 20:7 refers to saying “God damn it”. I disagree. “God damn it” is the same as saying “Go to Hell”.
Luke 9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
Luke 9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
Luke 9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
Luke 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did?
Luke 9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
Luke 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
When James & John wanted to rain fire down on the Samaritans they in effect wanted to damn them. They acted in the spirit of Satan. Satan desires everyone to go to Hell. That is why he fights against the Message of the Cross. It is at the Cross where salvation was wrought. There is no other salvation.

The Crash at Roswell
I believe the space vehicle that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico is real. I don’t believe there are any such things as alien beings living on other planets. I think the Roswell vehicle was a Pre-Adamic vessel.
Pre-Adamic means “before Adam” as in Adam & Eve. There was a civilization on this Earth before Adam, it was a more advanced civilization than ours today. It was destroyed in a horrific nuclear war. Dinosaur fossils can & were detected with a Geiger counter because the Pre-Adamic world was the time the dinosaurs walked this Earth & they perished with the Pre-Adamic world. Their fossils are radioactively “hot” with uranium as a result.
The “aliens” aboard the Roswell vessel were dead for about 6,000 years when it made it’s way back to the Earth as a meteorite does & crashed. It originated from the Pre-Adamic Earth. I read The Day After Roswell by Colonel Philip J. Corso(with William J. Birnes). Lt. Col. Corso said the U.S. gov built a nuclear powered (to power the electro-magnets) copy of the Roswell craft, but it wouldn’t do anything. Why? Because our solar system was different in the Pre-Adamic time. Back then all nine planets orbited the sun in the same orbit, equally spaced out & all were the same size. Have you read the conclusions of scientists that studied the data sent back from the two Voyager spacecraft NASA sent on the grand tour of our solar system? They said if Jupiter & Saturn were in Earth’s orbit they would be the same size as the Earth. The magnetic fields of the nine would’ve worked like the field coils in an electric motor. The Roswell craft (as well as others [probably multiple thousands]) would most likely be launched from any of the nine planets in a similar manner as our Space Shuttle. Once in orbit the Roswell craft would use it’s magnets to interact with the combined magnetic fields of the planets (possibly like a magnetic levitation train functions) to travel to the other planets. They would’ve rode inside the orbit of the nine planets with the planets gravitonal pulls being a part of their locomotion. Very efficient & simple. These Pre-Adamic craft couldn’t travel outside of our solar system.
What happened? As I said “The Pre-Adamic world came to an end by a horrific nuclear war”. One of the planets was blown up. Our scientists today believe the meteor belt between Mars & Jupiter was a planet at one time. Pluto isn’t a planet. Just think, nine planets in the same orbit gravitationally locked together, what would happen if one was blown up? The rest would be “sling shotted” out. That is why all the other planets today are scattered out in a destroyed condition in the same plane, but different orbits. In order for life to be possible on the other eight they would need to be in the Earth’s orbit. Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. If God didn’t make the Earth in vain (tohu as in Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form [tohu: chaos], and void; [bohu: waste]) then He didn’t make the others in vain.
The occupants of the Roswell spacecraft are reported to very skinny arms, legs and a big head with big eyes. The first person (an old prospector) to stumble upon the crashed craft said their blood was like tar. No surprise given that they had been dead for over 6000 years in the cold vacuum of space. Look at the pics of the Italian Iceman found in the Alps after being frozen for 5000 years. The Pre-Adamic world came to an end at least 6000 years ago. The Roswell spacecraft was in orbit when this horrific nuclear war took place. As a result the occupants also died. The spacecraft wandered for about 6000 years in the cold of space as a meteorite till it crashed in 1947 at Roswell. Notice the similarities of the reported looks of the “aliens” & the Iceman.
Lucifer started the nuclear war to stop God’s plans, but it didn’t work. God continued with Adam. See my entry titled “Adam”. Satan brought down Adam & Eve & then the Antediluvian world. God again continued with Noah. All Satan can do is hinder, God will have His way. God’s plan of salvation by what His Son did on the Cross is not & will not be in vain! Place your trust in what Jesus did on the Cross. Jesus didn’t fail. Victory was won on the Cross.

Eve
Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
“deep sleep” (tardêmâh) is a single word in the original language of the Bible meaning ecstasy, a stronger word for delight. It also means a trance. God promised to give us the desires of our heart if we delight in Him. It was God’s plan for Adam to have a wife & Adam desired a wife. Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a help meet for him. 1John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: God granted Adam’s desire as he was in “deep delight” in the Lord. Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. It’s without doubt ecstasy to be in the presence of the Lord.
The Hebrew word translated rib would’ve been better translated as “seed”. God didn’t clone Eve from Adam’s rib! In Adam’s trance resulting from his ecstacy before God, God expelled a seed from Adam which He made into a woman for Adam. The Hebrew word “min” was translated “of” & “from” in the King James Bible. “Min” is better translated as expelled in the story of Eve.
Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh…. Adam here is simply stating that he & Eve are now one flesh. Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; The term “closed up the flesh instead thereof” in the Hebrew means “shut up the womb”. Adam was a man & therefore didn’t have a womb; it simply meant that all of mankind would now come out of a woman. Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Psa 127:1 A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it… We must have the spouse that God chooses for us or all is in vain.
God has a set order. Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little…. When there is no way, God can! With Adam there was no woman to bring forth children, God brought forth a woman miraculously but used as much of the natural plan as He could. When Jesus fed the multitude with a few fish, He worked a miracle but still used the fish. In the greatest miracle of all–Salvation– we are made a new creature in Christ Jesus, but we still have this fleshly body with it’s limitations.

Adam
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
…the LORD God formed man of the dust… Aphar: dust (as powdered or gray); hence clay, earth, mud: – ashes, dust, earth, ground, morter, powder, rubbish.
Adam: dyed red, to be made red.
Jesus (Lord God) took the gray ashes of the destroyed Pre-Adamic world and washed them in His Royal Blood. He then put His Spirit in Adam. To be in the image & likeness of God is to be born-again. The forming (yatsar: squeezing into shape; mould into a form; especially as a potter) of Adam tells the story of salvation. At the Cross our sins are washed in the Blood of the Lamb (we are dyed red) and God’s Holy Spirit comes into us (He is the rejuvenating force within us).
As with the forming of Adam, man is “born-again” on this earth (God raised man from the Pre-Adamic ashes), we can be born-again from being dead in sin to “life, and that we may have it more abundantly” through what Jesus did at the Cross.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. This is the dominion God desires for us. As long as Adam delighted in God dominion over the earth & all that was in it was his. Adam through sin gave dominion over to Satan. God doesn’t desire an earthly kingdom. God desires that we give Him dominion over our hearts. God gave dominion over the earth to Adam. Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. As long as Jesus is your King sin shall not have dominion over you.
John 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
When Christ’s Blood flowed out of Him it applied all the way back to Adam. This is how the ashes were washed in Blood that bcame Adam. All Old Testament Saints are saved the same way as New Testament saints. There is only one salvation. The Water that came out of Jesus represents the Holy Spirit. It is the breath of life that went into Adam.

Touch Not God’s Anointed
If God says something one time, it’s important. If He says it a second time, you better take heed!
1Ch 16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Psa 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Read what David said about Saul, even tough Saul tried to kill him. There was no mention of Saul’s disobedience of God & his rejection by God. David was honoring God’s anointing on Saul. David wasn’t overlooking Saul’s failures, the point was regarding God’s anointing.
2Sa 1:14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed?
2Sa 1:15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
2Sa 1:16 And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’s anointed.
2Sa 1:17 And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:
2Sa 1:18 (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)
2Sa 1:19 The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
2Sa 1:20 Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
2Sa 1:21 Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
2Sa 1:22 From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
2Sa 1:23 Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
2Sa 1:24 Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
Elisha probably had a head full of hair. It doesn’t matter whether or not he had hair or not. The term bald was used to say God wasn’t Elisha’s covering. The children were had no respect for God’s anointing upon Elisha even though it was double that of Elijah. It is said there isn’t a greater fury than a mother bear defending her cubs. God’s fury avenging His children is even greater as represented by two mother bears here.
2Ki 2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
2Ki 2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tore forty and two children of them.
God called Cain & his descendants “Cherubims with a flaming sword”. A”flaming sword” is the anointed word of God to give the message of the Cross. The mark on Cain is the same on all those doing God’s will.
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Gen 4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
Lucifer was anointed by God. God said of Lucifer “Thou sealest up the sum”, “thou was perfect in thy ways….till….”, that was to say Lucifer was the finest Pre-Adamic man God had on the face of the earth. God said Lot was the finest man in his day, Lot’s “friends” had to apologize to him before God would forgive them. Michael respected the anointing God had placed upon Lucifer & was careful of what he said.
Eze 28:14 Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Jud 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Read the warning from the Apostle Paul. Don’t judge God’s anointed! They belong to God, He will judge them as He did Lucifer.
Act 23:3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, [thou] whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
I think the finest man & preacher God has on this earth today is Rev. Jimmy Swaggart. Speak kindly about Brother Swaggart, don’t harbor any resentment or ill will towards him. Honor God’s anointing on Jimmy Swaggart. I believe the anointing of the Holy Spirit on him is greater than on any other preacher. God’s anointing on a preacher is equivalent to the call of God on the preacher.
The anointing of God is always to preach the message of the Cross. The word “Christ” means “anointed one”. It is all about what Jesus did at the Cross. No Cross, no salvation, no healing & no blessings. Through what Jesus did at the Cross we can have “life & life more abundantly”.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

Cherubims with a Flaming Sword
Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Cherubims is plural for cherub, an Akkadian verb meaning “to praise, to adore & to bless”. The Bible calls itself a “sword”, Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Hbr 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. A “flaming sword” is the Word of God preached under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. A “flaming sword” cuts like a twoedged sword to bring us to the foot of the Cross. The Cross is our tree of Life today. The Message of the Cross “keeps the way of the tree”. Anything else turns us away. These Cherubim were men preaching under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Vine’s Expository Dictionary says the Cherubim represent redeemed men.
Who were the Cherubim? “….He (God) placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim….” Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. Cain & his decendents are the only ones recorded in the Bible at the east of Eden. I will now show that Cain became redeemed (forgiven & born-again).
Genesis 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Wroth in the Bible also means worried, in fact the Hebrew word for wroth is translated “fret” in Psalms & Proverbs. From the context of Genesis 4 we can see it means worried. Genesis 4:7 is really the same as Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. God told Cain & Peter that Satan desired to destroy them, but Jesus prayed their faith wouldn’t fail. Satan always comes against those God uses.

“Mark” means a sign. This sign on Cain is the same sign that is on Christians today. As Cain went about doing God’s will preaching the message of the Cross, they should’ve realized Cain was God’s anointed. 1Ch 16:22 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Gen 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
Gen 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
The Hebrew word for Enoch means initiating. To initiate something is to begin a new thing, i.e. born-again. In the Old Testament people would name children & places after events in their lives. Cain named the first city recorded in the Bible & his son Enoch. I believe Enoch was a city of refuge. A vagabond doesn’t build a city & live in it, Cain may have been a fugitive, but he was no vagabond. God forgave Cain! God’s curse doesn’t apply to those He forgives. Gen 4:14 I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me. A city of refuge was a place for fugitives, Enoch was a refuge from the self righteous bunch west of Eden. John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
Gen 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Where was the ground from whence he was taken?
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
He was taken from the ground west of the garden of Eden. For those that think there were a type of angels called cherubims with a flaming sword to keep Cain out of Eden, it doesn’t make sense for the angels being east of Eden while Cain was banished to the west. Joel 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. God destroyed the garden with fire as He did Sodom. Nothing was needed to keep Cain from the tree of life, the Cross of Christ is now our Tree of Life.
Cherubims, and a flaming Sword.
There’s only one way to righteousness, the penalty for sin was paid on the Cross by Jesus! Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
