The Bible says “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm”. 1Ch 16:22 & Psa 105:15
God takes it peronally when anyone touches His anointed. In 2 kings 2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.  When “the little children” called him “bald head” they were saying he wasn’t of God. i.e. God wasn’t his covering, his head uncovered.  The “little children” were likely the “sons of the prophets“.
It is said there is nothing more dangerous than a mother bear defending her cubs. In 2 Kings 2:24 above you see it was two she bears that God sent. God’s love for His children is greater than a mother bear’s love for her cubs. God showed that by using two mother bears.
I believe that Katrina may have been the “JUDGMENT OF GOD” on not only New Orleans but the whole country because of what was done to Jimmy Swaggart in New Orleans.
First of all, New Orleans has one of the largest
ports in the United States, probably ranking either
number one or number two. Regarding goods coming
in and going out, one might describe New Orleans
as the “mouth of the South.” Furthermore, about
twenty-five percent (25%) of the oil produced in the
United States comes from the offshore rigs which
have New Orleans as their headquarters, and a goodly
percentage of the gasoline refined in this country
comes from South Louisiana.
So, the city of New Orleans is very important to
the economy of this nation.
First, Anything that is under the Blood of Christ I don’t know anything about it.
Any error on the part of any of God’s anointed is no excuse to touch His anointed, and to do His prophets harm.
God has afficted the whole nation through New Orleans. 2Sa 12:14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme… God was blasphemed all across this nation. It was the “enemies of the LORD” that did the blaspheming.
2Sa 12:14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also [that is] born unto thee shall surely die.
God is telling David not to worry about it. God’s enemies always blaspheme, occasion or not. The “child also [that is] born unto thee” was a type of Christ to come. “Shall surely die” was prophecy that Jesus will surely give His life for us on the Cross to take all sins away from those that believe. We don’t have to worry about our failures, trust in what Jesus did on the Cross!!!
